The Ramapo Rally attracts adults and families living a healthy, active, outdoor focused lifestyle. While an interest in cycling drives their participation in this event, many are also engaged in other recreational activities, such as hiking, golf, snow sports, swimming, and even triathlons.
Rally participants possess spending power, as they reside in some of the most affluent counties in the country, and just under half have an annual total household income over $100K.
Riders in this event represent three key age segments nearly equally: ages 26-35, ages 36-45, and ages 46-55.
One might expect few participants to take on the challenge of a 100 or 125 mile ride, yet nearly 20% do so, with about ¼ choosing to ride 62 miles, and other ¼ opting for the 45 mile route.
